The Sweets of Bonbonia: Rhubarb & Custard 18K Gold Solitaire Ring With Tourmaline And Enamel

Well, you’ve all heard of that one. Bonbonia* neighbors in the UK had popularized Rhubarb & Custard flavor, producing not just candy with this taste, but also tarts, pies and even cocktails. But very few know that this perfect flavor combination originated in the heart of Bonbonia, in the city of Lollenburgh back in XVII century, when a pastry cook Cecile DuSucré misplaced her wooden spoon when stirring hot custard and grabbed the first thing in sight: a rhubarb stick. We dedicated a beautiful oval tourmaline solitaire ring to this well-known candy, where the pink gemstone set in 18K gold represents the insides of the rhubarb and textured enamel on the shank represents thick bubbly custard cream.
