Hi! We are Katia Rabey and Tamar Paley, jewelry artists and educators behind Overreacting Studio.
In our studio in Tel Aviv we offer a number of jewelry workshops to everyone from the age 14 and up.
Friday mornings
Our group workshops happen once a week on Friday mornings.
They are fully suitable for beginners and people with no silversmithing experience — as long as you love crafting, you’re good :)
No experience needed
You can also contact us for individual workshops or group events (team buildings, bachelorette parties and more) and we will be happy to accommodate.

COLORSMITHING
Creating Wearable Illustrations
This workshop focuses on creating a colorful statement piece from scratch - it can be a necklace with a character from your favorite book, bold accent earrings, cute ring with your dog or cat’s portrait on it - you can come up with anything and we will help you make it. You will leave the workshop already wearing your new piece!

CHEESE PLEASE
Using Babybel Cheese For Wax Modeling in Jewelry
Who doesn’t like Babybel cheese! Small, delicious, perfectly packaged. Turns out, its signature red wax peel can be used in sculpting jewelry pieces! We will show you how to sculpt a wax model for casting, combining different types of wax and different kinds of wax-working techniques. This workshop is perfect for creating rough-looking rustic jewelry pieces, as well as flowing, liquid-looking designs.

What skills will you acquire:
In this workshop you will work on a wax model for a piece of jewelry, that later will need to be cast in metal and finished, which means that the final result you will only receive in 10 to 14 days after the workshop.
PLEASE NOTE:
The price of this workshop includes 5 grams of sterling silver casting. You can also craft something heavier, but in this case we will charge you additionally according to the final weight of your piece in silver.

BRIDE TO BEAD
Bachelorette Party Crafting Session
Women getting together to craft is a tradition that accompanied nuptials for centuries. In this workshop you can all create together souvenirs for each other or for the bride: beaded necklaces or bracelets with small silver tags that you will manually craft and stamp with words you’d like to remember about this day. And of course wine and snacks can only improve the vibe. We will also be happy to put on a personalized playlist for this gathering if you have one!
